3. Data Collection on this Website
Server Log Files
When visiting this website, information is automatically collected by the web hosting provider in so-called server log files. These are: browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data serves the technical assurance of the operation and is not merged with other data sources.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form (if available on the page) or email, your details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Concrete Wiki: Anonymous Report Function
The Concrete Wiki provides a voluntary report function that allows visitors to flag content errors or outdated information. When using this function, no personal data whatsoever is stored — neither IP address, email address, nor any similar identifiers. The report is stored exclusively with its content (report type and optional description, max. 500 characters) in our database. This data is used exclusively for editorial quality assurance and will be deleted after processing. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in maintaining content quality).
4. Cookies, Tracking and Journal
We consciously refrain from using cookies that require consent (tracking cookies, marketing cookies) on this website.
No analysis of your surfing behavior is carried out by external tools such as Google Analytics or comparable services. All technical assets of this website (such as fonts and scripts) are loaded exclusively from our **local servers**. There is therefore no connection to servers of third-party providers (e.g. Google Fonts API), which means that no data transfer to third parties takes place. Language selection is handled purely via the URL structure and does not require storing preferences in cookies.
Journal & Insights (Microservice)
Our integrated journal is a technically isolated microservice that also operates without cookies or tracking pixels. In order to measure the relevance of our posts, only the views of an article are counted purely on the server side. No IP addresses are permanently stored and no profiles are created. The counting is anonymized and serves exclusively for editorial optimization.
5. Storage and Security
We store your personal data only as long as it is necessary for the provision of our services, compliance with legal obligations and the resolution of disputes.
We use appropriate security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or misuse. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security during data transmission over the Internet.
6. Updates
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy if necessary to adapt it to technical developments or legal changes.
